1. Introduction

Fixo, LLC (“Fixo”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI-powered property valuation platform for appraisers and lenders at appfixo.com (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you use the Service.

This Policy applies to users in the United States, including California residents.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account & identity: first name, last name, and email address.
• Business plan (if applicable): company name.
• User-generated content: files, images, or documents you upload.

2.2 Automatically Collected

• Usage & device data: IP address, browser/OS type, pages and features used, timestamps.
• Cookies & similar tech: analytics and functionality tracking.

2.3 Payments & Subscriptions

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status (e.g., active/canceled, plan type) but do not store or access full payment card details on our servers.

2.4 AI Processing

Inputs you provide, including uploaded content, may be processed by AI models to generate valuations and related outputs. We do not use your inputs to train publicly available models without your consent.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate the Service (accounts, valuations, support).
• Manage subscriptions and process payments (via Stripe).
• Ensure security and reliability (fraud prevention, crash reports).
• Improve the Service (analytics, feature development).
• Send transactional emails and service announcements.
• Marketing (if/when enabled; users can opt out).

4. Subprocessors & Service Providers

We rely on trusted vendors to operate our Service. These providers may process data on our behalf:

• Clerk (authentication)
• Supabase (database, storage, hosting)
• Stripe (payments and subscription billing)
• Google Analytics (usage analytics)
• Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting)
• SendGrid (contact/support email delivery)
• Mailchimp (email marketing; may be enabled in the future)

5. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and understand usage (e.g., via Google Analytics). You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect certain features.

California residents: analytics cookies may qualify as “sharing” under privacy law. You can opt out via browser or tracking-prevention tools. We do not sell personal information.

6. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We only store subscription metadata (plan type, status) and never store your full card number. Stripe handles payment security independently.

7. Data Retention

Account data: deleted promptly after account deletion or when no longer needed, unless required by law for billing or security purposes.

MVP note: Self-service account deletion will be added in Version 2. Until then, requests can be made at contact@appfixo.com.

Uploads & outputs: removed with account deletion, except for minimal retention required by operational safeguards (e.g., fraud prevention).

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures to safeguard your data — including encryption in transit, role-based access, and secure authentication via Clerk. However, no system is completely secure.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 16. If you believe a minor provided data, please contact us to remove it.

10. Your Choices & Rights

• Access & update: Modify your account information anytime in your profile settings.
• Delete: Request deletion via contact@appfixo.com.
• Marketing: Unsubscribe using email links or by contacting us directly.
• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You may have rights to access, correct, or delete data. We do not sell personal information.

11. International Transfers

Data is primarily processed in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your data will be processed in a country that may have different data protection laws.

12. Sharing & Disclosures

We may disclose information to service providers listed above, comply with legal requirements, protect safety, or facilitate a merger or acquisition. We never sell your personal information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy periodically. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the latest revision. If major updates occur, we will notify you via email or in-app notice.
